“Access to information will not only meet the at-your-fingertips standard but also the in-your-pocket opportunity. The site or phone may also know a lot about you and your reading ,learning, or research habits and interests through your social profiles. Add to this the movement to frictionless purchasing at ‘no-brainer’ pricing and you start to see a new ecology for information emerging.”

Hmm. You know, I curate the web here at the Geek Library - mostly just for me [there isn’t much of an audience, let’s be honest].
[grep | feeds > glib] Just One: LiB teaches G+ The Librarian in Black herself taught the first Google+ class at the library as part of a technical boot-camp series involving twenty classes between July and September - I need to try that. And hey, it rules that Sarah H-J *was* the first, and here’s why: I didn’t realize that I was the first librarian teaching a Google+ class until people started pointing it out to me and asking for my class outline,  learning plan, slides, etc.  Good news: I’ll share what I have.  Bad news: I have only an informal outline, and no learning plan or slides.  I’m a public librarian, dude.  I fly by the seat of my pants with this stuff. If you, like me, will be teaching a G+ class in the near future, read more. [Librarian In Black] (Source: librarianinblack.net)
